The Boys & Girls Club chapter of the Need to Read Book Club had a great time presenting a Reader's Theatre program of A Christmas Carol at Spartanburg's Dickens of a Christmas on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, Downtown Spartanburg in front of Books 'n' Stuff on Main Street. Special thanks to Valerie Barnet for putting together this fun Reader's Theatre program.
The Boys & Girls Club NEED TO READ BOOK CLUB also presented their Reader's Theatre program of A Christmas Carol to the Mary H. Wright Boys & Girls Club and Summit Hills Retirement Community on December 13th. They look forward to presenting it at Symtech's Christmas party on December 15, 2006.

FALL 2006 NEWS:
Holly Springs Motlow Elementary School invited Emily Conrad to share the NEED TO READ BOOK CLUB and the importance of reading and community service among kids. The kids were so encouraged that they started our third chapter of the Need to Read Book Club with 15 6th graders. WELCOME HOLLY SPRINGS MOTLOW!
